Urgo Healing Gauze is an adhesive dressing indicated for the treatment and protection of everyday superficial wounds, such as cuts, scratches, or minor burns. These dressings incorporate a central compress with lipid-colloid technology, which combines hydrocolloid particles with petroleum jelly, creating a moist environment conducive to natural skin regeneration. This type of technology helps accelerate the healing process while protecting the wound from external agents and reducing the risk of excessive scab formation. The non-adherent gauze prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound, allowing for more comfortable and virtually painless removal, which is particularly important for sensitive skin or more delicate areas. Thanks to its adhesive backing and absorbent compress, the dressing keeps the wound protected while absorbing light exudate, helping to keep the area clean and protected throughout the healing process. These dressings are indicated for superficial first-degree burns, minor burns with blisters, scratches, and light cuts, and are suitable for use at home or in first-aid kits. The sterile, ready-to-apply format ensures hygiene and safety during application, making them a practical solution for the rapid treatment of minor skin injuries.
Before application, carefully clean the wound with water or a mild antiseptic solution and dry the area with a sterile compress. Remove the protective backing from the dressing and apply the gauze directly to the wound, ensuring that the central compress completely covers the lesion. Gently press the adhesive edges to secure the dressing to the skin. It is recommended to replace the first dressing after approximately 24 hours and subsequently change it every 48 hours or whenever necessary, keeping the wound protected until complete healing.
Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity to any component of the product. Do not apply to deep, infected, or heavily bleeding wounds without medical advice. If signs of infection, worsening of the wound, or lack of improvement occur after a few days of use, consult a healthcare professional. Single-use product; do not reuse after removal.
